This week marks the launch of the latest in the super-popular line of LEGO games from Traveler’s Tales. But, instead of being based on a movie trilogy, it’s based on a well-known comic book series! LEGO Batman swings into stores with new features and some new gameplay quirks to set it apart from its cousins. The first is the ability to not only play as Batman & Robin (and Batgirl!) as they strive to save Gotham City from crime, but also the chance to play as many of the popular villains trying to thwart their attempts. You will play as The Joker, The Riddler, The Penguin, Poison Ivy, Mr. Freeze, and more from the rogues’ gallery. There are also fun Bat-gadgets like the Bat-jetpack and Bat-SCUBA suit! It’s Bat-fun for all ages! (I promise I’ll stop the Bat-puns now. Just don’t expect a Bat-apology!)
ROCK AROUND THE CLOCK

Rock Band 2 is now available for the Xbox 360, and will be out on the other systems in October. The awesome? 84 fantastic new songs to play through, the ability to use all of your downloaded songs from Rock Band 1, and some snazzy updates to the interface to make life easier. (More visible hammer-ons and pull-offs!) You can even turn on a “No Fail” option if you just want to jam without worrying about your score. The lame? I don’t have it yet. Yeah.
