New VP Is Ready to Play N Trade
Play N Trade welcomes Tony Gillette as the New VP of Training and Support
NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., July 3, 2008 – Play N Trade announces the appointment of Tony Gillette as Vice President of Training and Support.
Gillette brings over 19 years of extensive gaming management experience to the Play N Trade franchise organization. After graduating from college and opening his own business, he went to work for EB/Gamestop, then a fledgling gaming company. During his time there he experienced every major platform launch in the video game business. He played a vital role in growing the companies 54 California stores in 2003 to 167 stores by 2006. His qualifications consist of a strong background of strategic planning. One of his responsibilities was creating customer service programs to drive sales and profitability. He is also known for developing short and long term objectives through the implementation of tactical initiatives. Through his efforts he was able to open nearly 40 new stores a year. His focus will now be on progressive strategy analysis and training development for Play N Trades new and existing business endeavors. He will be filling a key role by helping to promote growth of their most important resource – the franchisees.
Gillette specializes in creating unique training and support strategies that are geared to move existing lines of attack to a new level. This is the mark of an experienced gamer. Play N Trade was looking to expand their footprint in the gaming industry. Gillette is a perfect fit for the job.
Tony will be working out of the corporate office in Newport Beach, Calif. In his new position he will play an aggressive role in securing Play N Trade’s reputation as the preeminent gaming franchise partnership.
