Attention gamers! At Play N Trade’s Stronger Together 2009 Conference we’ve met with some awesome vendors and publishers. Here’s some of the scoop:
• Contrary to popular belief, the PlayStation 2 is NOT going out of production. In fact, over 100 games have or will be released this year!
• “MAG”, an upcoming PS3 game, will have the capability to host 256 players online! 128 vs. 128! The Sony demo was intense, so get ready!
• “Uncharted 2: Among Thieves” and “Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time” will be coming soon and both are going to be incredible.
• “God of War 3” is coming in March 2010. Again, we saw a demo and it was completely stunning! Can’t wait!
• Activision showed us a demo of Tony Hawk’s new game, “Tony Hawk Ride,” which features a fully interactive skateboard. It promises to “take skating games to a new level,” and from what we saw, all promises will be fulfilled. It is set for October 13, 2009 for PS3, Wii and Xbox 360.
• “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.” Need we say more? This is coming on 11/10/09 and is going to absolutely off-the-charts huge!
• Also coming later this year: “Wolfenstein,” “Guitar Hero 5,” “DJ Hero” and much more. Expect a strong second half of 2009!
• “Bakugan” is going to be a big rage. It’s kind of like Pokemon but cooler! Parents, this is a great gift this Holiday Season.
• “Guitar Hero: Van Halen” is in the works!
